notHumans is a platform in beta to create AI personas (notHumans) that write like a real person and can answer a business's customers, for example on WhatsApp. This page explains what data we handle and what you can do about it.

What we collect
- Your account: name, email and photo from Google when you sign in.
- What you upload to create a notHuman: WhatsApp chat exports and voice notes. They are processed to learn the writing style; we keep the resulting personality and examples (with placeholders instead of real data such as prices or addresses), not the original chats.
- Your jobs: business information, rules and hours you write.
- WhatsApp: if you connect a number, the messages exchanged with your customers on that number (their WhatsApp number, profile name and message text), so the notHuman can answer and you can see them in the inbox. Customer voice notes are transcribed to text.
- Usage: how much AI each account uses (tokens and cost), to apply plan limits.
Who processes it
- Supabase (database) and Vercel (hosting).
- DeepSeek, the AI that writes the replies. It may process data outside your country, including in China.
- Groq, to transcribe voice notes.
- Google, only to sign you in. Meta, to send and receive WhatsApp messages.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data or your customers' data, and we don't use it for advertising.
- We don't use one account's data to answer for another account.
Customers who write on WhatsApp
- If you write to a business that uses notHumans, an AI may answer on behalf of the business, and the business can read the conversation. The business is responsible for telling you so and for how it uses your data.
Delete your data
- From the app you can delete notHumans and jobs, and disconnecting a WhatsApp number deletes its conversations.
- To delete your whole account and everything in it, write to us from your account's email. We delete it within 30 days.
- If you wrote to a business on WhatsApp and want your messages deleted, ask that business, or write to us and we'll pass it on.
